About the Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll help lead the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth service and a memorable guest experience. You’ll support the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations while upholding our high standards across service, training, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver top-tier customer service and manage guest feedback

Support daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless service

Lead, train, and inspire the front-of-house team

Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth service flow

Assist with reservations, rostering, and stock control

Confidently prioritise tasks and support team performance

Bring great communication, calm under pressure, and attention to detail

Uphold the Ducks’ values of sustainability, quality, and authenticity

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant as a Supervisor or Manager

A hands-on leader with a positive, energetic approach

Solid knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service

Passion for sustainability and ethical food practices

RSA certified (or willing to get it)
