About the Role
Due to their continued success, the now seek a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our dynamic NSW sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding their market presence by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong client relationships. You'll work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement effective strategies within your territory. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote working environment and is passionate about driving growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities via social media, inside sales, networking, and proactive prospecting
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to your allocated territory or vertical market
- Understand client needs to offer tailored sales solutions
- Monitor industry trends, review professional publications, and stay updated on competitor activity
- Represent the company at seminars and industry events
Account Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
- Address client queries efficiently and professionally
- Stay informed on product developments to upsell and generate repeat sales
Personal Development
- Regularly access principal sales portals for the latest updates and tools
- Use LinkedIn to network and keep up with industry trends
- Participate in training and ongoing learning initiatives
Company Procedures
- Log all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Comply with company policies and ISO standards
Job Overview
- Contribute to team sales targets and margin goals
- Maintain existing customer base while actively growing new business
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
- Willingness to travel as needed
Skills and Experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management selling 3D Printing / 3D Scanning / CAD
- Experience selling industrial equipment and B2B sales
- Experience developing a business case / ROI
- Preferable, but not essential: engineering/manufacturing background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently
- Comfortable with remote work and managing your own schedule
- Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for continuous improvement
