JOB SUMMARY
As a Business Development Manager/Relationship Manager specializing in third- party broker network engagement, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the companies lending portfolio in the NSW broker market.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with brokers, mortgage originators, financial advisors, and other intermediaries to drive loan origination. Your focus will be on building a strong broker network and ensuring that our lending solutions are effectively presented and promoted to potential borrowers through these channels.
As a well experienced BDM, you should already have an affluent aggregator and broker network in NSW and be able to leverage off this network to bring to market the niche lending product offerings of the client. If you are a broker, you should have adequate knowledge of commercial non-bank lending scenarios.

Broker Network Development
Establish and maintain the broker channel;
Maintain good relationships with existing and new brokers;
Meet with new brokers and educate them on the clients lending matrix;
Attend finance broker related conferences as a way to broaden the clients brand awareness;
Develop and maintain database of brokers that we send regular communication to (e.g. case studies);
Product Knowledge and Training
Develop a deep understanding of the clients lending products and services.
Provide training and education to brokers on the features and benefits of our loan products.
Ensure that brokers have the necessary tools and resources to effectively promote our lending solutions.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with brokers and other third-party intermediaries.
Act as a primary point of contact for brokers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
General Responsibilities
Filter and qualify loan applications based on the clients lending matrix;
Conduct initial research on domain & RP Data on indicative valuations and property details;
Utilise the Finpower loan management software Conduct Veda searches on Borrowers
Seek approval prior to advancing negotiations with brokers or accepting applications that are outside lending parameters;
Submit weekly reports on work in progress (wip); prepare and draft letter of offers;
Liaise with panel valuers on instructing independent valuations; and
Provide feedback to the clients investment committee on potential lending opportunities in the market.
Targets
Every quarter, provide at least $7.5m worth of qualified loans that are funded by the clients related entities. Amounts exceeding more than $7.5m per quarter will form part of or all of your quota for the next quarter. Minimum qualified loans are reset at the beginning of each financial year.
