EXPERIENCED WAITRESS/WAITER WANTED.

We are looking for a person with a strong history of customer service, efficiency in taking and delivering orders, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking accurate orders, serving food and drinks, and processing payments. Additional duties may include assisting with table setup, clearing tables, and resolving customer issues.

Thursday & Friday day and night availability is required. 3+ years experience essential.

Job Summary:

Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with all guests.

Proficiently take orders, serve food and beverages, and process payments.

Ensure tables are clean, organised, and properly set for service.

Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet guests warmly and direct them to their tables.

Present menus, offer recommendations, and describe specials.

Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them to the kitchen and bar.

Serve food and beverages promptly and gracefully.

Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.

Check on guests regularly to ensure their satisfaction.

Order Processing and Service:

Accurately record orders, including any modifications or allergies.

Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Deliver food and beverages to the correct tables.

Ensure proper presentation of food and beverages.

Monitor for refills and anticipate guest needs.

Table Management and Cleanliness:

Ensure tables are clean and properly set before, during, and after service.

Clear plates, glasses, and other items promptly.

Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.

Financial Transactions:

Accurately process payments using cash, credit cards, or other methods.

Handle cash drawer accurately and balance it at the end of each shift.

Provide change accurately.

Other Duties:

Assist with restocking items as needed.

Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.

Participate in training and staff meetings.

Proven experience as a waitress or server.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of the menu and drink list.

Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Ability to handle guest complaints calmly and professionally.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
