About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Wait Staff/ Section to join our team at the Ironbar Saloon in Port Douglas, Queensland. As a full-time member of our hospitality team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our vibrant saloon.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and attentive table service to customers
• Taking orders and serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring tables are properly set and maintained throughout service
• Assisting with the preparation and presentation of menu items as required
• Handling cash and processing payments accurately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining area
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen team and other staff
• Adhering to all health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a wait staff or section in a busy hospitality environment
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including relevant regulations and best practices
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
• A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional guest experiences
