About the role

Unfiltered is a brand new cafe set to open at the end of April/ early May seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. This is a casual position, offering Monday to Friday shifts to suit your lifestyle. We are located on the ground floor of the newly built Net Strata Head Office in Carlton NSW just a 2minute walk from Carlton Station with plenty of surrounding parking. We are a family owned and run cafe with 2 other locations in Caringbah and Kirrawee.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving our house roasted coffee blend and single origins

Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Assisting with general cafe duties as required, such as restocking, running food, food preparation and cash handling

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee-making techniques and equipment

Experience with dialing in espresso blends, filter coffee and have a decent level of latte art and presentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A positive, friendly and professional attitude
