Weekend Barista - Northwood Store

SUMMARY:

Store: Northwood (Lane Cove)

Role: Barista

Days: Weekends with 5am start, approx. 20 hrs/week. Casual but opportunity to go full time if required.

Pay range: $27-38/hr

In this role, you'll be the face of our coffee service, creating delicious beverages and contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve high-quality barista coffee and other beverages to our customers.

Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

Follow recipe cards and ensure consistency in coffee preparation.

Manage stock levels and communicate any shortages to the team.

Operate and maintain coffee equipment, reporting any issues promptly.

Assist with other store tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.

Desirable:

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role.

A strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Reliability and punctuality, especially for early morning shifts.

Own reliable transport, and living close to Northwood.

Fluent in English for customer service.
