We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Executive Assistant to join our team and support our leaders in achieving our mission.

Role Overview: As an Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role to support our leaders by managing their schedules, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officers and President to facilitate effective communication and organisational efficiency. Your role will be essential in helping us achieve our purpose to make a profound difference in the lives of veteran families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President through diary and email management, preparing correspondence as required.
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the CEO’s office, including document management and electronic filing of legal contracts and confidential information.
Organise and manage meetings and events, including establishing agendas, distributing the records of meetings and following up on agreed actions.
Key Selection Criteria:
Essential
Previous experience providing executive support and comprehensive secretarial services.
The ability to apply a high level of judgement to all situations while maintaining confidentiality in relation to all activities undertaken in the role of working with the CEO and President.
The ability to liaise with key stakeholders and Legacy WA members.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, sound written communication and attention to detail with high standards of professional and personal integrity.
Robust time management and methodical organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
Self-motivated with an ability to work with minimal direction and to tight timeframes.
A can-do disposition with a track record of demonstrating initiative, being resourceful and proactively seeking solutions and improvements.
Strong teamwork orientation to foster collaboration with staff at all levels.
Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and contemporary digital platforms.
Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and a Working with Children’s clearance.
Desirable
Experience working with the Australian Defence Forces or an understanding of the needs of veterans and their families.
A keen interest in contributing to the vision of Legacy WA.
