About the role

GW CAPITAL GROUP PTY LTD' is seeking an experienced Accountant (Intermediate to Senior) to join our team in West Perth, WA. As a key member of our Taxation division, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and growth.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting records for clients

Providing tax planning and compliance advice to clients, ensuring they meet all relevant taxation requirements

Conducting research and analysis to identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients

Collaborating with clients and other stakeholders to understand their financial objectives and provide tailored solutions

Maintaining detailed and accurate records, and ensuring all work is completed within agreed timelines

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our Taxation services and internal processes

Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the Taxation team

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

Strong technical skills in taxation, accounting, and financial reporting, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues

A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, and a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) certification
