We're looking for someone (maybe you?) to lead our Individual Giving work at Diabetes Australia — someone who knows how to turn one-time donors into lifelong supporters. Someone who can build a beautiful donor journey, because you understand that giving isn’t just a transaction — it’s a relationship.

This full-time permanent opportunity can be flexible; based at any of our offices Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra or Tasmania and reports to our wonderful National Manager – Fundraising. But really, you're the heartbeat of our donor program. You're here to grow it, shape it, and love it like your own.

So, what will your days look like?

You’ll be the go-to for:

Crafting campaigns that inspire, convert and retain donors

Building strong donor journeys (we’re talking regular givers and major donors)

Crunching data to find the story and drive your next move

Managing budgets, timelines and delivering real results

Creating real connections — with our supporters and with your team

But here's the thing: this role is more than tasks and KPIs.

It’s about why you do what you do.

You believe that people want to help. You just need to show them how. You get excited when you see your appeal hit inboxes or mailboxes. And you’ve got ideas – oh, so many ideas – for how we could make it even better next time.

You’ve worked in fundraising before (4+ years, ideally in Individual Giving).

You’re comfortable with data but also know how to write a story that moves someone to action.

You understand the delicate art of asking. (And maybe you even have a soft spot for spreadsheets).
