About the Role:

Interviewing clients to determine the nature of problems, and recommending and undertaking appropriate legal action.

Conducting legal research, arranging witness preparation and attendance.

Managing conveyancing and other property matters by preparing contracts of sale, mortgage documents, lease documents and other documents relating to the transfer of land and buildings.

Coordinating exchange of contracts and settlements in Conveyancing.

Managing case files and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Liaising with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and financial institutions.

Making the necessary arrangements for settlement.

Preparing and reviewing wills, drafting letters and legal documents and contracts, and critically reviewing contracts between parties.

Providing legal advice and representation across conveyancing, will, estate planning, and administration.

Drafting and reviewing wills, powers of attorney, and estate documents.

About You:

Admitted to practice as a solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate.

At least 1 year of PAE in Conveyancing, Business, Lease, Will and Estate and preferably experienced in Migration law

Fluent in Mandarin, Hokkien, and can read/analyse Chinese papers and documents.

Proficient in Leap and PEXA

Typing speed between 60-75 wpm or higher

Holding NATTI Credentialed Community Language in Mandarin

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
