We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Solicitor to join our team at Kerrisons Legal Services' home office in Kirkham, NSW. Available on a full-time basis, you will play a vital role in managing the team and supporting the Principal in reducing their working days. This position is perfect for someone looking to escape the hectic pace of a busy office environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage your own caseload of Family Law, Wills and Estate matters.

Provide expert legal advice to clients.

Attend Directions Hearings and other Procedural Hearings.

Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals.

Draft Affidavits and proofread legal documents such as contracts, briefs, and correspondence.

Organise and maintain both electronic and physical filing systems.

Attend client meetings.

Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Work closely with a paralegal and the Principal to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Experience:

Experience in Family Law, Wills and Estates and Property Law is preferred but not required.

Strong research, writing, and proofreading skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Proficiency with legal research tools and software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of legal procedures and Court filing requirements.
