ABOUT THE ROLE

As Restaurant Manager at Mjølner, you’ll take the lead in a high-performing and innovative venue. Beyond daily operations, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to exciting brand activations such as Dark Mofo, Comic-Con, and PAX, plus ongoing collaborations and media opportunities.

You’ll work closely with the National Operations Manager, taking an active role in the long-term success of the business. From coaching the team to managing budgets and cost controls, you’ll be setting the benchmark for service and team culture, while driving results and maintaining the brand’s high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Motivate and inspire the restaurant team to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity.

Assist in managing forecasting and budgets across beverage, food, and staff costs.

Maintain stock control procedures with exceptional accuracy.

Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant.

Follow The Speakeasy Group's management procedures meticulously.

Implement, execute, and uphold outstanding levels of service, setting a benchmark for the team.

Maintain the venue's cleanliness and highest maintenance standards.

Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food handling, and OH&S regulations.

Keep venue training and procedures up to date and effectively communicate them to the team.
