Since 2017, NOLA Smokehouse and Bar has made its place as the go-to venue for Southern Cuisine, Live Fire Cooking and American Whiskeys. We are now looking for an ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team of hospitality professionals.

As the Full-Time Assistant Restaurant Manager, your main role will be to organise and manage the day to day operations of the restaurant and coordinate with the bar, kitchen, and Senior Management.

You will be working closely with our Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant and wider venue.

Formal qualification in the relevant field will be highly regarded; in lieu of formal qualification, at a year of experience working in a similar role is required. Remuneration will depend on the skills and experience a candidate brings to the position ($70,000 - $75,000 per year plus superannuation).

Skills & Experience

Previous work experience in managing high-end restaurant operations;

Excellent time management skills,

Ability to remain calm under pressure;

Excellent communication and leadership skills;

Positive and professional attitude;

Great understanding of food, wines, cocktails and spirits.
