Your new role

• Utilise your business network and established relationships to drive new business growth through technical excellence
• Design and analyse structural elements for buildings across various sectors, such as aged care, education, mixed-use, hospitals, and public infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to develop project solutions.
• Mentor and oversee more junior engineers
• Prepare and check detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and holds CPEng Status
• More than 7 years of proven experience in structural design and analysis for building projects.
• Proficiency in using structural design software such as Microstran, Inducta Software Suite, CheckSteel, CheckWind, ClearCalcs, Hilti Profis, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with Spacegass, Strand7, and ETABS is also advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards, with essential exposure to Australian projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience mentoring and overseeing junior engineers.
• Ability to drive business growth through established networks and professional relationships.
