We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Centre Operations & Enrolment Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, possess strong organisational and administrative skills, and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Working under an integrated model of service delivery, the role is to coordinate with various professionals and services to provide comprehensive support for children's development, health, and well-being.

Leadership and Management: Oversee daily operations, implement policies and procedures, and provide effective leadership to deliver quality early childhood education and care.

Regulatory and Funding Compliance: Ensure the centre complies with all relevant legislation, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.

Staff Management: Recruit, supervise, and support child care staff, including conducting performance evaluations, organising professional development, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

Maximising centre utilisation by implementing strategies to optimise enrolment and attendance rates, ensuring the centre operates at or near capacity while maintaining quality care and financial viability.

Family and Community Engagement: Build relationships with families, handle enrolment inquiries, and foster connections with the local community, including schools and allied health professionals.

Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, staff, and visitors by implementing and monitoring safety protocols.

Administrative Duties: Handle documentation, reporting, and record-keeping tasks, including maintaining children's records, preparing reports for management, and ensuring compliance with government requirements.

These responsibilities ensure the smooth operation of the child care centre and the provision of high-quality care and education for children.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher tertiary qualification desirable

Proven experience in a leadership or administrative role within Early Learning or similar setting.

Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and best practices.

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.

Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Give an example of when you had to work with someone who was difficult to get along with. How/why was this person difficult? How did you handle the relationship progress?

How do you demonstrate your experience working in early years administration?

How do you use your knowledge of National Quality Standards in your everyday practice?

Provide information of your understanding and difference between Child Safe Standards and Child Protection?
