The Package: $42.31 - $46.76 gross per hour + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 5 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

In this role you will:

Work at the Library Desk to manage the circulation of books, shelving, cash handling and membership inquiries.

Support with the planning and execution of library events and programs, including story time.

Deliver responsive and engaging support to customers, promoting awareness and use of library materials and services

Maintain and assist in general housekeeping and presentation of the library and its resources.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working in a library, office or similar customer service environment.

Possess the ability to provide empathetic and personal customer care to a diverse range of customers.

Ability to effectively time manage, through setting appropriate priorities and objectives to meet deadlines.

Can communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
