About the role
We are seeking a passionate and caring NDIS Support Worker to join our team at Your Direction Care in northern suburbs in Melbourne, VIC. As a casual NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while enjoying the flexibility of casual work.

What you'll be doing

Providing personalized support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, including personal care (toileting and showering), meal preparation, and community engagement

Implementing client-focused support plans and working closely with clients to help them achieve their individual goals

Respite Care/In-home Care

Delivering of high-quality care to all clients

Assisting with duties based on Individual NDIS Goals to be met.

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and a commitment to promoting their independence and wellbeing

Previous experience in a similar role, such as disability support, aged care, or community services

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

Own ABN/Right to work in Australia
