One of Australia's largest financial institutions are seeking a Lead AV Technician to take charge of audiovisual operations across their environment. You'll lead the technical delivery of AV services, ensuring seamless setup, operation, and support of AV systems for events, presentations, and daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and can confidently manage both the tech and the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily AV operations, ensuring high-quality service across all meeting rooms, function spaces, and event areas.

Lead and mentor a small team of AV technicians.

Coordinate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose AV solutions.

Set up, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment including video conferencing systems, projectors, microphones, speakers, control systems, and lighting.

Provide real-time support for live events, meetings, and hybrid conferencing environments.

Maintain and manage AV equipment inventory, performing preventative maintenance and updates.

Document AV setups, incidents, and procedures for ongoing improvement.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a senior or lead AV technician role.

Strong knowledge of AV systems, including Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Cisco, Zoom, and MS Teams integrations.

Experience with video conferencing, live streaming, and hybrid event setups.

Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Experience supporting executive-level meetings and sensitive environments is highly desirable.
