Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a high-performing, experienced CNC Operator who shares our values and vision to join our team.

Experienced in CNC operation, ideally in timber joinery or door manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate multiple flatbed CNC routers to perform timber cutting, drilling, and milling and a 5-axis CNC

Interpret CAD files, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accuracy in machining

Load, secure, and manage materials on CNC beds in accordance with WHS and load restraint procedures

Conduct machine checks, perform basic troubleshooting, and assist with maintenance tasks

Ensure high-quality, damage-free output through precise machine operation and material handling

Collaborate with the door production manager and team to optimise machine output and minimise downtime

Accurately document job completion and maintain clean, organised work areas

Participate in team discussions on improving workflow, safety, and efficiency

Willingness to assist in other areas of the factory where required

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

Proven experience operating CNC machinery, particularly in timber joinery or similar manufacturing

Familiarity with operating flatbed CNC routers

Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production machinery

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of MRMDF and custom timber products and how they react to CNC

Highly Regarded but not Essential:

Experience with Alphacam and other CNC software for CNC programming

Experience operating 5-Axis CNC Cube

Forklift Licence and/or Heavy Vehicle Licence
