Position: CNC Waterjet Operator

Location: Truganina, Melbourne (Onsite)

Job Type: Full time

Starting Time: ASAP

Schedule: Min 40 hrs per week

Starting Rate: $40 - $45 Per HR

Your key duties

Set up & operate CNC Waterjet machines according to benchtop specifications.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications.

Configure and run CNC equipment to precisely cut stone slabs and components.

Read and apply detailed shop drawings and CAD/CAM files to machine operations.

Oversee machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and fine‑tune settings as needed.

Deliver high‑quality work on schedule, meeting project specifications.

Follow and enforce all relevant safety procedures and industry standards.

Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity.

General factory duties.

What you’ll need to succeed

At least 2 years of proven experience operating CNC Waterjets.

Stone industry experience is essential.

Experience operating Burkhardt or Techni Waterjets.

Ability to read plans and measurements

Current working rights in Australia

Proficient at interpreting blueprints and CAD/CAM documentation

Skilled in CNC machine programming and operational workflows

Exceptional attention to detail and precision

Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities

Bridge Saw experience is a Bonus
