$87,051 to $ 95, 685 per annum (HEO6)

Plus 17% employer superannuation

Salary packaging options are available

20 days family and domestic violence leave available per annum

20 days gender affirmation leave per annum

10 days Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural and ceremonial leave per annum

5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum

About the role

The Lead Adviser, Study Credit provides specialist advice and expertise in relation to student pathways services relating to admission, credit and enrolment for commencing and continuing students.

The Lead Advisor coordinates and supports the work of the advanced standing team ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of advanced standing and permission to enrol elsewhere services. The Lead ensures training and knowledge transfer for relevant processes is delivered and integrated with existing business processes.
As a subject matter expert in Credit the Lead Adviser will: contribute to the continuous improvement of advanced standing related processes to positively affect student outcomes; participate in projects from time to time; and assist with planning the development of new and amended policies and procedures.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated organisational skills to thrive working in a dynamic and complex environment, exercising independence, initiative and judgement.

Accuracy and attention to detail as well as the proven ability to identify and analyse information to resolve complex problems will be essential.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop effective professional relationships, maintaining diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.

The ability to coordinate delivery of strategies and plans to support services to students and staff.

Leadership experience and demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating a broad range of administrative functions.

About the Department

Student Pathways is responsible for prospective student relationship management, managing and administering domestic admissions and credit applications, student recruitment and conversion activities for the University.
