About You
You might have just finished your cert 3, or have been working as a groundie and looking to further your career. You are a highly self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently without supervision while still contributing to a team environment. With a commitment to safety, you consistently adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safe work practices. Physically fit and capable, you are prepared to handle the demanding nature of Arborist duties, which include manual handling tasks, rigging, climbing ect.
For the right person we offer assistance in further training, and or can offer an apprenticeship for someone with groundie experience, looking to become an arborist. In addition, you will also have:
A current QLD drivers license and own transport to get to and from work essential
Certificate III in Arboriculture
Own PPE Equipment
MR LICENSE highly desirable, but not essential
About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable arborist to join our team. As a jnr arborist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our more senior Arborists and Tree Technicians in the execution of tree maintenance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working outdoors and contributing to the preservation of green spaces.
Our day starts at 7am at the depot in Peregian Beach, with typical days finishing around 1pm, but can be up to 3pm with lunch break. Our day can vary with some days finishing early, but we aim for work life balance and look after our team. You will be paid a set day rate, regardless of hours worked. We also offer incentives and bonuses pending performance.
