Fuse Recruitment are currently partnered with our industry leading client in search of an experienced Senior NPD Technologist to join their team in Brisbane!

Our client is a leading dry blend manufacturer in the health and wellness space, dedicated to supplying the market with premium quality products and service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the formulation and development of new functional food and supplement products
• Conduct bench trials and oversee sample development, presenting outcomes to clients
• Ensure compliance with FSANZ regulations and generate accurate technical and nutritional documentation
• Support commercialisation efforts by collaborating cross-functionally with Production and Quality teams
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Liaise with suppliers to investigate novel ingredients or more effective alternatives

Requirements:
• Degree in Food Technology (required)
• Qualifications in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field are highly regarded
• 4+ years of experience in product development, ideally within food or health manufacturing
• Excellent understanding of ingredient functionality, particularly in dry blend formulations
• Familiarity with FSANZ regulations and ability to compile nutritional panels
• Proactive, organised, and curious, with a focus on continuous improvement
