We are currently seeking applications for a Workforce Consultant to join the Electorate Services team at the Department of Treasury and Finance.

Remuneration / Classification: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,143 per annum

About the Department / Team:
The Department of Treasury and Finance is the lead agency for economic, digital and financial policy outcomes. We play a vital role in providing financial services to the community and economic and fiscal policy advice to the Government of South Australia.

Electorate Services provides a range of services to Members of Parliament in the areas of human resources, accommodation, security, procurement and financial management. Electorate Services also oversees the management of the Ministerial chauffeur service.

About the opportunity:
The Workforce Consultant is accountable to the Business Operations Manager to provide high quality and effective consultancy and advice to Members of Parliament and electorate office employees. This includes applying workforce policies and procedures to support Members of Parliament to manage employment conditions, recruitment processes and employee performance in line with South Australian Public Sector requirements.

About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in providing:

effective advisory and consultancy services in general workforce matters, including advising on, interpreting and administering legislative and policy requirements

generalist workforce administrative services and functions, including performance management, contract preparation, and grievance and dispute resolution

advice and support to effectively and persuasively influence a decision making process and manage complex and sensitive issues.
