Senior/ Lead Electrical Engineer

• Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD
• Roster: Monday to Friday | Office-based
• Key Benefit: 12-month+ contract | Up to $110 per hour including super
• Key Essential Qualification: Bachelor Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Role Opportunity
Work on one of the most technically complex mining projects in North America. As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) function from feasibility to detailed design. You'll mentor a growing design team, and assist the Project Lead in delivering Electrical Design.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with LV/MV, controls, instrumentation
• Previous experience in materials handling design of experience, eg crushers, conveyors for mining

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design high/low voltage systems & comms
• Design materials handling equipment, such as crushers, conveyors
• Liaise with international teams on compliance & design
• Conduct vendor data reviews and CAPEX support
