The position will suit an accomplished Senior Electrical Engineer with design experience in materials handling/Fixed plant facilities across minerals processing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical ownership of electrical design
• Carry out engineering calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Design review and checking.
• Support more junior members of the electrical engineering team, providing technical consultancy and guidance to project personnel.
• Develop commercial packages related to technical assurance.
• Review system design ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Candidates are required to have previous experience working on brownfield sustaining capital projects in mining.
• Experience with materials handling and or fixed plant mining equipment.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working on mining projects.
• Site construction and commission experience favourable.
• Mining process plant experience (MCC, VSD, Motors, Cables).
