Lead Electrical Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking Lead/Senior Electrical Engineers to support large-scale decarb and sustaining capital projects within the iron ore sector.

This role will focus on the electrical and instrumentation design, integration, and optimization of fixed plant material handling systems, including primary and secondary crushing circuits, ore handling conveyors, stacking and reclaiming systems, and associated processing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and organize a high-performing Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) design team.
• Develop and review electrical system designs for materials handling equipment.
• Oversee bid evaluations, reporting, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Conduct site visits as required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in E&I design within mining or heavy industry.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with major mining systems and procedures
• Strong understanding of electrical systems for bulk material handling equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
