About the role

The main functions of the Healthcare Standards Unit is managing and overseeing of Quality of Care and Service Improvement Activities.

Working closely with the Healthcare Standards Unit, the Director will work as part of a dynamic team and lead the development, implementation and monitoring of programs that advance patient safety, quality of care and risk across the North West Hospital and Health Service.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary degree qualification would be highly regarded.
  • The position may involve travel to various facilities or unit within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
  • A period of probation may apply.
