About the Role:
As part of the company’s ongoing growth, a newly created opportunity has opened up for a corporate / commercial lawyer to join the in-house legal function. Reporting to the General Counsel, this is a high visibility role offering hands on exposure to a dynamic business. You will be involved in:

• Drafting, negotiating, and advising on a range of contracts from supplier contracts through to IP/technology related contracts;
• M&A and corporate transaction related work;
• Governance and corporate matters;
• BAU legal support including to the operations, product, finance, and commercial functions; and
• Projects based work.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role, you will have:

• 4–8 years’ post-admission experience with a demonstrated grounding in corporate and commercial law;
• an unrestricted Australian practising certificate;
• ideally training from a mid or top-tier law firm. In-house experience is also preferred;
• A pragmatic and commercial approach to legal advice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence across stakeholder groups.
