Qualifications & experience

Experience with Prime Eco System and or build-exact looked upon favourably

Ideally a Carpentry or similar trade background, proven experience in estimating, scoping works & writing reports for a diverse range of construction works.

Must be proficient with IT and have a sound understanding of Excel and experience in estimating software.You will have sound computer & typing skills, with experience in using tablets, smart phones & prior exposure to workflow management systems.

Strong time and organisational management skills with the ability to work autonomously

Experience in insurance industry looked upon favourably

Must be able to work to deadlines

Tasks & responsibilities

Accurately performing take offs from plans, site measurements to compile an accurate bill of materials

Ability to collaborate with project managers, designers, and suppliers to gather all necessary information for accurate estimates.

Prepare and submit tenders accurately and within timeframes.

Compile detailed causation reports and scope of works.

Studying tender documentation for preparation of scopes/estimates
