What You'll Be Doing

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of Electrical & Air Conditioning projects

Read and interpret project plans, specs, and tender documentation

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to gather and clarify information

Support insurance quoting and reporting as part of our assessment team

Assist with quantity take-offs and use of estimating tools (training provided for juniors)

Participate in tender preparation, submissions, and budget development

Maintain accurate records and manage supplier pricing databases

Collaborate with the General Manager, project managers and field teams on project planning

What We’re Looking For

For experienced applicants:

Proven background in electrical estimating (residential, commercial, or insurance)

Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. ServiceM8, Groundplan, Excel)

Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, labour, and materials

Strong communication, documentation, and deadline management skills

For junior applicants:

Some industry exposure or relevant qualification (electrical, construction, admin, etc.)

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, hands-on role

Attention to detail and basic skills with Excel and general computer tools

Positive attitude, initiative, and interest in a long-term estimating career
