We are seeking an experienced Chef to manage the daily kitchen operations at Oar.

We are a all day brunch cafe open 7 days a week 7.00am to 3.00pm.

Attractive salary $70 - 75,000 plus super

We have been open 7 years serving up insta worthy brunch dishes, in our beautiful lakeside venue, right on the waters edge. We have a loyal following and a steady team. We specialise in all day brunch and host amazing functions on the weekends.

The cafe boasts:

7-day dining 7.30am to 2.30 / some weekend evening functions over summer

The successful candidate must possess the following attributes;

Strong leadership and communication skills

The ability to work autonomously

A creative, positive, can-do attitude

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to;

The running of the kitchen including staff management, ordering & specials

Prepare, cook and present food to the highest quality

Stock control

Assisting the owners in menu planning and execution

Staff training

Keep kitchen clean and tidy in line with health inspectors regulations

Work with owners and venue manager to deliver on customer expectations

Manage function menu prep

This role is ideal for an experienced chef looking to move into a management role.
