The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and an accomplished conveyancing paralegal to join our team. You will be directly working with the principal of the firm and gain invaluable exposure and mentorship to broader areas within the team's practice. Your client portfolio will include a range of well-reputable clients, including: -

Local property developers; and

homeowners or investors;

This role offers the opportunity to work with high-caliber clients, providing strategic legal advice and building long-term relationships.

You will be working autonomously on all residential conveyancing file with support from staffs of the firm.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: -

Managing conveyancing files from start to finish;

Overseeing property transactions (residential and commercial);

Processing new conveyancing files with direct contact with clients;

Perusal of contracts and preparation of letters and documentation;

Completing online searches;

Managing paper and PEXA settlements;

Financial and administrative tasks

Moreover, you would also be provided with opportunities and assistance to manage and grow your own client portfolio with a focus on building long-term relationships.

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have: -

At least 3 to 5 years with experience as a conveyancing paralegal experience;

Strong technical skills and attention to detail;

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities;

Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships;

Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team;

The ability to proritise tasks appropriately and display initiative; and

Bonus: Bilingual proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is highly regarded and experience with trust accounting but not essential.
