The Company:

Our client is a not-for-profit charity that supports art events and festivals in Perth. This organisation is looking for a well-rounded HR professional with a passion for people, and culture, to support human resources functions in the interim.

The Role:

This role is based in-office in Perth CBD and will mostly include operational and administrative HR tasks. The responsibilities will include:

• Policy Writing: Draft, update, and refine company policies to ensure compliance, relevance, and consistency with organizational goals.
• Collaboration with HR Consultant: Partner with an external HR consultant to support process improvements and structural changes.
• Performance Review Cycles: Coordinate and oversee regular employee performance reviews, including data collection and analysis.
• Compensation and Contracts: Support salary adjustments, contract renewals, and conversations around employee retention initiatives.
• Low-Volume Recruitment: Manage recruitment including job posting, candidate vetting, and onboarding.
• Policy Implementation: Ensure workplace practices are consistently aligned with established corporate policies.

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate will have:

n Had exposure to the overall employee life cycle

n Experience in policy writing

n Training and development skills

n Knowledge of awards

n Qualifications in HR

n A willingness to learn

n Strong attention to detail and work ethic

n A positive attitude and immaculate presentation
