About the Role
As a People and Culture Officer, you'll provide high-quality administrative support across a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, and terminations. Reporting to the Team Leader People and Culture, this is a fast-paced role requiring exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset.
You'll work collaboratively across the People and Culture team, coordinate key staff programs and events (such as the Long Service Awards and Employee Loyalty Program), and play a critical role in maintaining personnel records and process compliance. There's also an opportunity to support process improvements and help refine HR policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in HR administration and recruitment.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgement, strong initiative, and a high level of confidentiality.
- A current Queensland "C" Class Driver's Licence.
