About the opportunity:

Drakes Supermarkets Queensland Head Office is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the daily function of the States HR department.

Working as a part of our HR/Training team and based out of our Rochedale Head Office store in QLD, this generalist position will be responsible for:

General administration duties such as typing, photocopying, filling, scanning, preparing and sending letters, memos and emails on behalf of the Human Resources Department

Developing Letters of Offer and movement forms

Participate and assist with Drakes end to end recruitment process

Assist the Senior Human Resources Advisor with ER & IR investigations

Attend career firs and other business engagement events

Assist and support accredited training for our Queensland Training Department

Desirable Qualifications:

Studying or hold a Bachelor of Business/Management (Human Resource Management) or other similar undergraduate qualifications

Hold a TAE 40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Skills and experience

Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

High level prioritisation, organisational and time management skills which results in the ability to meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication skills and people skills with strong internal and external customer stakeholder focus

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Ability to influence others, build rapport and make positive change

Ability to cope with changing work demands and a fast-changing environment

Retail experience is desired, but not essential
