Role
We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join our head office team in Maroochydore. This is a hands-on administrative role supporting our growing team of staff and contractors. As the business expands, you will play a crucial role in helping streamline our HR processes and ensuring the smooth operation of daily personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Administration
Manage annual leave and sick leave processing
Support payroll operations and record-keeping
Coordinate and schedule performance reviews
Maintain accurate employee records
Recruitment and Onboarding
Coordinate job advertisements on Seek and other platforms
Organize and maintain onboarding processes for new employees
Manage contractor paperwork and follow-up
Support the recruitment of employee cleaners as we expand
Workplace Health and Safety
Maintain WHS documentation and record-keeping
Coordinate toolbox talks and safety newsletters
Manage office safety signage and compliance
Support team reporting of WHS and HR issues
HR Support
Implement sexual harassment prevention plans
Act as second person in employee reviews
Support management with HR administrative matters
Maintain compliance with employment regulations
About You:
Minimum 2 years experience in a HR coordination or similar administrative role
Minimum Cert IV in Human Resource Management (BSB40420) or higher
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Excellent time management abilities with capacity to prioritize multiple tasks
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of employment classifications (full-time, part-time, casual)
Experience with onboarding processes and documentation
Desired Attributes:
Previous experience in coordinating teams or supporting operations
Knowledge of basic WHS requirements
Experience with HR information systems
Understanding of modern HR practices
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Reliable and professional attitude
What We Offer:
Competitive salary package of $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation
