We are seeking a talented and driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to improve our supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless product flow and optimal inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Collect, analyse, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance.

Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Inventory Management:

Analyse inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize stock levels and minimize stock-outs.

Develop and implement inventory control strategies to reduce carrying costs and improve inventory turnover.

Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely and accurate material replenishment.

Process Improvement:

Identify and analyse bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain.

Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize supply chain performance.

Logistics and Distribution:

Analyse transportation and distribution data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Monitor and track shipment performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements.

Forecasting and Planning:

Assist in the creation of demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models.

Support the development of supply plans to align with demand forecasts.

Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additional Skills Required:

At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain analyst role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Experience with statistical analysis is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
