About the role

Join the dynamic team at a global utility organization as an Analyst - Supply Chain. In this 12 month - fixed term contract position based in Melbourne, VIC 3000, you will play a key role in driving efficiency and optimisation across the company's supply chain operations. With a strong focus on data analysis and reporting, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide critical insights that inform strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

Collect, analyse and interpret complex data from various sources to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain

Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders

Collaborate with supply chain managers to implement process improvements and optimise inventory, distribution and transportation

Support the development and enhancement of forecasting models to enhance demand planning and inventory management

Identify and address supply chain-related risks and bottlenecks

Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement across the organisation

What we're looking for

Degree in a quantitative field such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or Business Analytics

Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain analysis or reporting role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry

Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, including Excel, SQL, and data visualisation software

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Proactive, adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
