About the role

Yarragon Bakery is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy bakery located in Yarragon, VIC 3823. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a talented team to ensure the bakery runs efficiently and delivers exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of the bakery's operations, including inventory control, staff scheduling, and financial management

Ensure the bakery's products and services meet high quality standards

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for the team

Liaise with suppliers and community stakeholders to build strong business relationships

Monitor and report on the bakery's performance, identifying areas for improvement

Provide mentorship and training to the team to support their professional development

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality or retail industry

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business objectives

Strong financial management and analytical skills to drive profitability

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and food handling regulations
