About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Communications Officer (internally known as Stakeholder Communications Officer) to support the development and implementation of communication strategies and engagement plans across a range of stakeholders and audiences. You will support the delivery of quality communications and engagement activities for staff and contribute to Lotterywests staff engagement and positive culture.
Key areas of focus include:
Internal communications planning and delivery
Stakeholder engagement
Analysis and evaluation of communication strategies contributing to continuous improvement
Event management for exciting events including all staff meetings and lunch'n'learns
Digital content creation, including video and photography
Written content for internal communications including newsletters, bespoke EDMS, video scripts and speech notes
About you, you have:
Experience developing and implementing communication plans and strategies across a range of stakeholders and audiences.
Experience creating and editing content across communication channels including written, video and digital.
Good written communication and experience preparing communications materials including newsletters, bespoke eDMS, video scripts and speech notes.
The ability to effectively work with diverse groups of people.
Good time management and experience leading the planning and organising of events

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication plans and strategies across a range of stakeholders and audiences.
Demonstrated experience in creating and editing high quality content for a range of communication channels including written, video and digital.
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to prepare and develop a range of communications materials including newsletters, bespoke eDMS, video scripts and speech notes for internal audiences.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with diverse groups of people.
Experience leading the planning and organising of events with the ability to manage time effectively.
