The opportunity
You will be joining our community at an exciting time! We have re-imagined our programs and recently launched a new and innovative education product suite. Learn more about our new modular learning model here. You will be part of the Strategy and Planning team supporting our first cohort of students engaged in modular learning.
We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Strategy and Planning.
You will:
- Develop and implement dynamic internal communication plans that resonate with both staff and students.
- Create compelling content across multiple channels, including email, social media, and print, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage, maintain and enhance The College's internal SharePoint site, ensuring efficient and effective dissemination of information.
- Collaborate with The College Executive to create innovative and engaging content that fosters cross-organisational communication and collaboration.
About you
You are:
- An experienced communicator with a relevant undergraduate qualification and a knack for planning and implementing impactful communication strategies.
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills, capable of juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy and creative, proficient in desktop publishing software like the Adobe suite, and advanced in computer literacy including SharePoint and Viva Engage.
- An exceptional writer and editor, capable of crafting tailored communications for diverse audiences, with an understanding of the needs of students and staff in an educational setting.
The location
This position will be based at The College’s Nirimba (Blacktown) until mid-2025 and then Parramatta City Campus, although travel to other campuses may be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.
Remuneration Package: Professional Staff Level 6 $104,055 p.a. (comprising Salary of $91,536 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with the College Enterprise Agreement.
