The Opportunity
This is not your typical HR Business Partner role.
If you’re someone who thrives on face-to-face connection, enjoys getting out and about, and prefers sitting down with stakeholders over a cuppa instead of behind a desk all day - this role was made for you.
In this permanent HR Business Partner position, you’ll work closely with Executive and Senior Leadership teams, leading strategic and people-focused initiatives across a range of sites. You’ll spend one day a week in the CBD, with the remainder of your time out on the road - visiting different locations within the north-west region, building real relationships and making a hands-on impact where it counts.
Your ability to engage, influence and deliver results in a blue-collar or industrial environment will be highly valued as you help drive performance, accountability, and cultural improvement.
The Benefits
This role not only offers variety and impact - it also supports your wellbeing and professional growth.
Enjoy:
- A monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO)
- A flexible hybrid work environment with travel across multiple sites
- Exceptional professional development opportunities
- A broad range of physical and mental health support services
- Complimentary gym access to help you stay energised and healthy
About the Role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a strategic advisor to a designated client group, including Executive and Leadership team members.
You will:
- Provide timely, expert HR advice to address complex or systemic people matters
- Work closely with leaders to improve organisational effectiveness and drive cultural transformation
- Design and implement practical, tailored HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Build capability across leadership teams through coaching and facilitation
- Be visible, approachable, and engaged—supporting stakeholders across different worksites with a hands-on, people-first approach
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist role within a complex, industrialised environment
- Strong background in employee relations, grievance resolution, and case management
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to influence at senior levels and drive people strategy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of stakeholder engagement
About the Company
Our client is a purpose-driven organisation that’s all about service, people, and impact. With a culture built on teamwork, integrity, respect, and accountability, they take pride in supporting their community - and each other.
You’ll be joining a team that lives its values and recognises that people are at the heart of every great outcome.
