Gardner Building Co (GBC) is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team member to work in a supportive and collaborative team based in Sydney and Eastern Suburbs. We are currently based in a shared working space in Darlinghurst

Responsible for the proactive construction and contract administration tasks for a range of high-end residential projects, ensuring accurate cost, time and quality management, and on time completion.

Assist site managers on the safety management of sites with the proactive identification and discussion of any issues, under relevant legislation and systems

Assist the Director & Site managers to the successful delivery of projects to specification, within agreed quality parameters and approved budgets.

Manage the procurement, trade packaging, tender and engagement process of client contracts, and the management of the purchase orders.

Manage the procurement & sub-contractor contracts issued & signed before sub-contractor attends the construction site.

Liaise with and manage consultants and engineers to ensure that construction design details, inspections and quality requirements are met on site.

Assist the site managers and director with the development of short and mid-range programs on site.

Management of the handover and post-completion tasks on site including occupation requirements, defect management with subcontractors

Assist with builder administration back-end approvals (PC, OC, Registration)
