Contract Administrator - High-End Residential Construction - Sutherland Shire
A well-established, award-winning residential builder specialising in architecturally designed homes is seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the execution of high-end residential projects across Sydney. You will be responsible for contract administration, procurement, project coordination, and ensuring all construction processes align with time, cost, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee contract administration and construction processes for multiple residential projects, ensuring efficiency in cost, time, and quality management
Support Site Managers in the proactive management of site safety, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company systems
Assist the Director and Site Managers in delivering projects within budget and to the highest quality standards
Manage procurement, trade packaging, tender processes, and subcontractor agreements, ensuring all contracts are in place before work commences
Liaise with consultants, engineers, and architects to ensure all design details, inspections, and quality requirements are met
Assist with project scheduling, short- and mid-range planning, and site coordination
Oversee project handovers, including defect management, occupation requirements, and post-completion processes
Handle back-end approvals such as Practical Completion, Occupation Certificates, and Registration
Administer and maintain Buildertrend, ensuring all plans, specifications, and trade quotes are accurately organized and up to date
Coordinate procurement, variations, and supplier agreements, ensuring multiple quotes are obtained for PC items
Conduct weekly site meetings with Site Managers to update schedules and project variations
Work closely with finishing trades on client selections, final detailing, and deliveries
Manage subcontractor inductions, ensuring all licenses, insurances, and safety compliance documents are in order
Prepare project documentation, including warranties and compliance certificates
Organize maintenance requests post-handover
About You:
Experience in contract administration within high-end residential construction
Trade background or a relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field
Strong understanding of Buildertrend or similar project management software
Excellent ability to liaise with architects, engineers, site managers, and clients
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy in procurement, scheduling, and documentation
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving construction challenges
What’s on Offer:
Salary between $100,000 - $135,000 + Super (experience dependent)
