MPI has been engaged by our leading clients to provide Underground Service Crew for multiple sites based in the Goldfields region of WA.

The position is offered on a temp to perm basis only and the roster is flexible with 8/6, 2/1 and 2/2 options available FIFO from Perth. Pay rate is $55 p/h however negotiable depending on the level of experience.

To be considered you must have the following:

Minimum 6 months experience in an underground mining environment

Valid Australian unrestricted Driver's License

Current Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights Card

National Police Clearance within 6 months

Have the ability to pass a pre employment medical

Duties involved but not limited to:

Operation of Integrated Tool Carrier to transport various items from laydown yard/s to underground areas

Install, maintain and repair all underground services e.g.: air/water/pump lines, ventilation bags, temporary electrical cables, submersible pumps in sumps, Mono pumps and clean / maintain explosive areas

Installing and removing communication equipment/knocker line as per site policies

Install & repair paste pipes and flushing of paste lines

Assist with the construction of ventilation walls

Install grout, plate, and tension of cable bolts​​​​​
