We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Rostering & Workforce Planning Officer to join our growing team. This is a key support role in our Human Resources function, responsible for designing, coordinating, and maintaining effective workforce rosters in a 24/7 aged care environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe staffing levels, promoting staff well-being, and delivering continuity of high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain accurate and cost-effective rosters aligned with care requirements and staff availability.
Collaborate with Team Leaders and HR to proactively fill vacant shifts and manage skills mix.
Monitor and respond to leave requests, staff changes, and unplanned absences.
Maintain HR and rostering data in CareSystems and other platforms.
Liaise with Payroll to resolve roster-related discrepancies.
Support workforce planning, probation reviews, and reporting.
Contribute to staff well-being through fair roster allocation and work-life balance practices.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR, workforce planning, or rostering role (aged care/healthcare preferred).
Proficiency in workforce/HR systems (CareSystems, TimeTarget, or similar).
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and understanding of modern awards.
Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to team wellbeing.

The facility includes extensive landscaped grounds, a nondenominational chapel, numerous sitting and activities rooms and a community hall.
