This role would suit someone with previous experience in warehousing, unload of trucks and assembly of furniture. We have a small team of labourers who work collectively. We receive 2 trucks weekly, with Cairns being one of our most faced paced locations, servicing 2 showrooms.

To be successful you would have:

Experience in the assembly and placement of furniture, you would be good with your hands and think outside the box to solve problems onsite.

A good work ethic

Some basic handyman skills helpful in the occasional repair

Some skills in the management of the small team of warehouse labourers

Willingness to lift furniture and assist with unloading trucks, organising furniture deliveries.

This is a labor-intensive role, so the successful applicant would need to commit to being able to fulfill this role. Our furniture is solid recycled timber, some of the pieces are in excess of 100kgs, and whilst you are not required to lift independently, the lift is still heavy. We receive 2 trucks into the warehouse each week, we unload, assemble, and prepare orders and stock for delivery. It is a fast-paced role.
