We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Airfare Admin Assistant (Schedule Change) to assist our travel consultants with schedule changes on existing client bookings from within our centralised admin/operations team.

The Opportunity

As a talented Airfare/Travel Admin Assistant (or former Travel Consultant), you will be able to lead this key part of our business to ensures we are always providing exceptional service on our existing airfare bookings when airlines change existing flights. The key responsibilities are:

Monitoring and management of booking queues including actioning schedule changes

Liaising with airlines and travel suppliers to handle waivers and general service requests

Sending follow-up emails to clients regarding their unactioned schedule changes

Assisting the admin/operations team with tasks ranging from ticketing, insurance follow-up, general service requests, booking maintenance, pre-departure checks and other general admin tasks.

We are a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm business so you get to keep your nights and weekends to yourself. The role is full time but there is part-time flexibility for the right candidate to work 'school hours'.

About You

If you have at least 2 years of travel administration or travel consultancy experience with demonstrable experience in queue management and schedule changes, then we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Sabre (or a similar GDS) and be highly competent working in email and spreadsheets.

You have a passion for travel with strong knowledge of airfares, airline product and frequent flyer programs. An administration background and ability to work to set, repetitive tasks is highly preferred.

We value excellent problem solving skills, strong communications, great planning / time management skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

And of course we want people who can be themselves at work, noting we are primarily office based so you'd need to be based in Adelaide (not remote).
